Our freshman girls had a field trip today that was sponsored by our Freshman Fusion Team members, Ms. Weber, Ms. Duncan, and Mrs. Wheeler. The girls spent the day around the lake with hiking, games, and ice cream. The highlight of the day was Kalena Bruce, who offered her time to speak with the freshman group. Mrs. Bruce spoke words of wisdom and encouragement to the girls. Great job team members!

The freshman boys headed to Nevada today to participate in obstacle training with the US Army. The boys were encouraged to learn to work as a team and encourage each other. The HS Freshman Fusion team members Mr. Coyle and Coach Warlop set up and supervised this event. We want the HS culture to be built by students that can work with and support each other. Great job guys!

May 10th-1:09 p.m. Lightning has taken out 2 switches causing our phones and internet to be down. This is likely going to be for the rest of the day. While we cannot control we apologize for the inconvenience. Parents can email their child's teacher. Elementary staff can be contacted also through DOJO.

The HS National Honor Society members competed against each other today in their self designed and self fabricated rafts on Stockton Lake. This academic investigation activity was a great way for our NHS members to be challenged. Great job students and Mr. Fields.

Some of our JAG students traveled to Jefferson City and yet again have represented Stockton very well. We are so proud of their accomplishments and the opportunities JAG and Mrs. Burns have offered them. Mitchell Gant competed in Career Preparation and took 1st place and won a trip to Nationals in Orlando April 17-23. He presented on his desire to become a firefighter. Abby Wilson created a t-shirt design for the JAG conference and took 3rd place. Sunshine Smith wrote an essay on "What I Wish All Missourians Knew About JAG." She was our local essay winner and attended a banquet in November. BUT SHE WAS ALSO THE STATE ESSAY WINNER TOO! A requirement of JAG is that EVERY SINGLE STUDENT in the JAG program write an essay. She won first place for the essay...for the entire state!
